Fan-favorite Image Comics creators Chip Zdarsky (Sex Criminals), Babs Tarr (Motor Crush), Matt Fraction (ODY-C), and Kelly Sue DeConnick (Bitch Planet) have all RSVP’d to participate in the Image Comics Fall Homecoming dance! Don’t miss your chance to rub elbows with your favorite comics creators and celebrate Image Comics’ 25th anniversary with dancing, refreshments, and a photobooth.

This very special formal Fall Homecoming dance for the comics community will be held during the Rose City Comic Con festivities on Saturday, September 9th from 8:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. at The Evergreen in Portland, OR. This event will be 21+ only. IDs will be checked at the door.

Image Comics’ Fall Homecoming will be in the style and spirit of a traditional high school dance and all comics fans and industry members are encouraged to come mix, mingle, and dance the night away.

Image Comics Fall Homecoming ticket tiers:

Kelly Sue DeConnick
Kelly Sue DeConnick writer best known for writing Pretty Deadly and Bitch Planet from Image Comics, reviving Ghost with Dark Horse Comics, and a celebrated run on Captain Marvel. She has also edited and adapated manga like Fruit Baskets, Black Cat, and Slam Dunk.

Matt Fraction
Matt Fraction is an Eisner Award-winning writer best known for his work on The Invincible Iron Man, Hawkeye and many others for for Marvel Comics, along with Casanova, Sex Criminals, and ODY-C for Image Comics.

Babs Tarr
Barbara (aka Babs) Tarr is best known for working on Batgirl from DC Comics and Motor Crush from Image Comics. She grew up in the sunny and beautiful Charleston, SC before attending the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD where she received her BFA in Illustration. She currently is settled west in San Francisco, CA living the dream working as a full time freelance illustrator with work from Hasbro, Disney, The San Francisco Chronicle, and more.

Chip Zdarsky
Eisner award winner, Chip Zdarsky creates comic books from his home in Toronto, Ontario. For almost 14 years he worked at the National Post newspaper as a columnist. In 2013 he made the jump from the dying print industry to a different dying print industry as a comic-boy, co-creating the award-winning comic Sex Criminals with Matt Fraction. Since then he has worked on Jughead for Archie Comics along with Star-Lord and Howard the Duck. He is set to write a new Marvel series Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man starting in June.
